Professional Experience Highlights

Software Engineer

  • Developed CAD/CAM programs for GM’s Corporate Graphics System (CGS), an application used for designing outer body panels such as doors and roofs.
  • As a result of excellent work on CGS, selected to develop ten-week training course for all entry-level engineers that covered structured programming with PL/I and database concepts with DB2.
  • Selected to enroll in inaugural management consulting training program.
  • Facilitated the creation of a single product development process for GM’s Automotive Components Groups.
  • Conducted and delivered an evaluation of the 1997 Corvette program that uncovered delays and inefficiencies in the design process.
  • Developed a prototype computer-based diagnostic system for a foam injection process.
