Corrine joins the B2E program after spending 6 years in the Army before taking time to focus on her family. During that time, she also took on a photographer/sales role, as well as acting as a paraprofessional at the elementary school before returning to school to earn her teaching certification. She has spent the past 4 years as a substitute teacher. Corrine has developed and implemented programs, managed teams, coordinated large events, and is very detail oriented. Corrine is excited to use her current skill set, along with the training from B2E to help her kickstart a new career in IT.

Substitute Teacher

  • Worked closely with regular K-12 staff to provide students with consistency in instruction, classroom management, and discipline.
  • Became familiar with school leadership, staff, routines, and policies by communicating effectively with all parties.
  • Composed thorough notes for the regular teacher documenting class progress and behavior issues.

Elementary Paraprofessional

  • Supervised students independently while conducting learning activities in line with teacher instructions.
  • Created and implemented new system to better organize movement and accountability of students.

Photographer/Sales

  • Organized files and developed a new system to improve customer relations through tracking logs for follow-through with customer issues and FED EX shipping which was adopted by the manager.

Topographic Officer

  • Coordinated topographic support for corps level operations, including production of special map products, mass printing of standard map products, and geodetic surveys.

  • Developed a financial management program, which was recognized as the best, out of 9, in the unit.
  • Developed a maintenance program, increasing vehicle operational readiness rate from 89% to 98% and winning 1st place in a post-wide maintenance excellence competition and 2nd place in the Army-wide competition.

Platoon Leader

  • Managed the maintenance, accountability, and safe operation of engineer equipment valued in excess of $2.6 million.
  • Directly supervised planning, training, discipline, morale, welfare, and professional development of 25 personnel.
  • Project Manager for an on-post horizontal construction project valued in excess of $500,000.
