CMOs Will Spend More Than CIOs on Technology in 2017

Marketing and technology budgets are starting to overlap as more organizations utilize digital marketing tactics. “As the marketing leaders’ mandate broadens, we are seeing the CMOs’ marketing tech spending approach the levels of the CIOs’ technology spend.” Gartner has done some research and found that marketing budgets have significantly increased, leading analysts to believe that IT won’t be the top spending on technological needs.
